Registration will be opening on May 28th after our Info, Meet & Greet Session. Registration is first come first served. Based on our ECO Preliminary Survey we have a lot of interest in the program and most likely will not be able to accommodate everyone. So in addition to our semester/yearly program we will also be offering additional drop in class options 1-2 times a month. These will not require semester/yearly enrollment and will be stand alone classes (approximate cost will be $10-$15).
We will meet every other Tuesday starting on August 6th for a total of 18 weeks. Our Fall semester will end on November 19th. Our Spring semester will run January 7th through May 19th. We will take off the month of December since that tends to be a very busy month for most families. Our ECO Navigator program is drop off, and our ECO Explorer program will require a parent/caregiver to stay with their child(ren). Classes meet from 10 am - 2 pm. *All children enrolled in the 1/2 semester or full semester will also receive a goodie bag filled with valuable resources including a magnifying glass, stickers, bookmarker, pencil, name badge, field guide and more (we are still gathering goodies, if you are a business or outdoor organization and would like to donate some items please contact us).
**Extras: Extra fees will be required for quest club pins, if your child wishes to participate. These fees may be paid at a later date and will be announced in the Secret Google Classroom. Both of the programs will be having a require reading assignment for the year. We will have a chance to purchase these in bulk and the cost will be approximately $6 per book, this will be discussed in more depth with enrollees. There are 3 items parents will need to provide for their children for some of the classes, these include: white t-shirt (which we will be tie dying), compass, binoculars and a camera of some sort. And lastly there will be parking fees for 3 of the locations, if a parent is staying at class.
Drop In Option:
For those who do not make it into the semester/full year option or do not wish to enroll in the semester/full program at this time we will be offering additional drop in classes 1-2 times a month.
