Maricopa County Arizona Chapter - Queen Creek

Location: Desert Mountain Park

We are offering 4 programs in the East Valley for the 2022-2023 school year.  Click on the program below to jump to the corresponding section.


ECO Pathfinders - PreK-K/1st

ECO Adventurers - 1st-3rd

ECO Trailblazers - 1st-3rd

ECO Explorers - 4th-7th


All programs take place at Desert Mountain Park - 22201 Hawes Rd, Queen Creek, AZ 85142


The Pathfinders and Adventurers programs run concurrently, so they all take place on the same day.

ECO Pathfinders

AGES/GRADES:

ECO Pathfinders is for children in Preschool (K3, K4), Kindergarten and 1st grade (approximate ages 3-6 yrs old).  Pathfinders offers a combination of hands on learning activities, exploratory play,  guided nature walk, loose parts play, and an art/craft project.


A parent/caregiver will be required to stay with their child(ren).    

TUITION:

There are only 15 openings for each program!

Full year payment option: $225 for the year / Sibling discount $205 ($20 sibling discount applied)*

½ semester payment option: $125 Fall, $140  Spring / Sibling discount $115 Fall, $130 Spring  

*You save $40 if you choose to pay for the year.

The  East Valley - Desert Mountain Queen Creek program will meet every other Monday 10:00 am-12:30 pm for 17 weeks. This program does run concurrently with our Adventurers program.

Each class will follow a similar format:
10:00 am - Exploratory Play/Class Reminders/Nature Journaling
10:15 am - Learning Activity
10:45 am - Specimen/Wildlife
11:00 am - Song/Poem
11:10 am - Exploratory Play Nature Break
11:25 am - Loose Parts and Storytime
11:40 am - Craft/Art Project
12:00 pm - Hike
12:30 pm - Class Ends/Lunch


We encourage parents to stick around after class to socialize and continue exploring nature.

AGES/GRADES:

ECO Trailblazers is for children in K/1st-3rd grade (approximate ages 6-9 yrs old). Trailblazers offers a combination of hands on learning activities, exploratory play,  guided nature walk, loose parts play, nd an art/craft project. 


This program is optional drop off.

TUITION:

There are only 15 openings for each program! (we are increasing the West Valley group to 20 openings)

Full year payment option: $300 for the year / Sibling discount $280 ($20 sibling discount applied)*

½ semester payment option: $160 Fall, $180 Spring / Sibling discount $150 Fall, $170 Spring  

*You save $40 if you choose to pay for the year.

11:30 am - Lunch and Exploratory Play
12:15 pm - Community Science/Scientist/Historical Highlight
12:30 pm - Craft/Art Project
