ECO Navigators - 6th - 9th Grade

ECO  Navigators is for children in 6th-9th grade.  Navigators offers a combination of hands on learning activities,  a guided nature walk, community science participation. Navigators will cover science, history, math and more.


IMPORTANT UPDATE:

Due to low enrollment, this program is on hold, however, if we do get interest we will consider offering it on another day of the week, please fill out the waitlist form.

Our Navigators  Program will be geared towards children who are in 6th-9th Grade (approximate ages 12-15 yrs old).   This program is drop off, however exceptions can be made based on your child(rens) needs.

 There are only 10 openings for this program! 


Full year payment option:  $270 for the year / Sibling discount $250 ($20 discount)

*A $36 discount and t-shirt are included if you choose to pay for the year.


½ semester payment option:  $136 Fall, $170 Spring / Sibling discount $126 Fall, $160 Spring

*T-shirt is an extra fee.

In the Fall we will be meeting at Mansel Carter Park (Queen Creek). And in the Spring we will be meeting at Gilbert Riparian Preserve. Both of these locations offer  everything we need to meet our program goals.

*ECO has no affiliation with these parks and the City of Queen Creek and City of Gilbert assume no liability.

We will meet TBD from 10 am -2 pm for 18 weeks.  You can view the calendar here. 


Each class will follow a similar format:

10 am - Nature Journaling 

10:15 am - Learning Activity

11 am - Animal and/or Scientist Highlight

11:30 am Lunch and Exploratory Play
12 pm - Citizen Science and/or Hike

12:45 pm - Art/Craft Project and/or Historical Highlight 

1:15 pm - Exploratory Play

2 pm - Class Ends
